SAN FELIPE, Baja California, Mexico—Following three days of on-site racer registration and late-entry registration this week in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico, 259 vehicles have officially entered Saturday’s King Shocks 38th SCORE San Felipe 250. The popular early spring race will start and finish on El Malecon along the stunning shoreline of the Sea of Cortez.
Race week is Wednesday through Sunday (April 2-6) for the season-opener of the four-race 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship. The race is being held over a technical, rugged race course of 250.06 miles around the Northern part of the majestic Baja California peninsula.
All four 2025 SCORE races are being held on Mexico’s magnificent Baja California peninsula for the 10th consecutive year.
With classes for Pro and Sportsman cars, trucks, UTVs, motorcycles and quads, racers from 26 U.S. States, and 9 countries have entered so far. The elapsed-time race will start at 6 a.m. PT on Saturday for motorcycle/quad classes followed by the start of car/truck/UTV classes at 10 a.m. PT on Saturday.
While the fastest finishers are expected to finish in approximately four hours, all vehicles will have a 12-hour time limit from the time each starts to become an official finisher in this spectacular elapsed-time event.

From the state-of-the art SCORE Studio in El Cajon, Calif., host Brandon Johnson provide exclusive race day coverage, along with vehicle tracking, live drone, and in-car camera footage from various locations around the race course.
Legendary SCORE racers who will be working with Johnson during the race-day in-studio coverage will be Wes Miller, and Heidi Steele.
Popular and gregarious Rat Sult, starting his 10th season with SCORE, will be the host announcer on the SCORE ramp during contingency, the race start, and race finish in San Felipe. Assisting Sult will be Kevin Johnson.

DOUBLE DIGITS
The race includes 39 entries in the featured SCORE Trophy Truck division (Including 7 in SCORE TT Legend for SCORE Trophy Truck drivers over 50 years old, and 17 in the new SCORE Trophy Truck 2WD), the marquee racing division for high-tech, 1000-horsepower custom trucks.
Besides SCORE Trophy Truck, the other Pro four-wheel vehicle classes with double figure entries and their totals are Trophy Truck Spec with 31 entries, Pro UTV FI with 38 entries, Pro UTV Open with 27 entries, and Pro UTV Stock with 24 entries.
Among two-wheel classes in this race, Pro Moto Unlimited has 5 entries, Pro Moto Limited has 9, Sportsman Quad has 7, and Pro Moto Ironman (solo riders) has 16 entries.

SAN FELIPE, Baja California, México- A las puertas de un registro de tres días de corredores, al igual, que inscripciones tardías durante la semana en San Felipe, Baja California, México, 259 equipos ya aparecen en las listas oficiales de la edición 38 de la King Shocks SCORE San Felipe 250. La popular carrera veraniega arrancará este sábado y finalizará en el Malecón, a unos pasos del majestuoso Mar de Cortez.
La semana de la carrera será del Miércoles al Domingo (Abril 2-6) para la fecha inaugural de 4 carreras que le darán forma al Campeonato Mundial del Desierto 2025 de SCORE. La competencia contará con una ruta de 250.06 millas, con muchas zonas de altas velocidades, además de unas partes de manejo técnico, alrededor de la zona norte de la península de Baja California.
Todas las carreras de SCORE en este 2025 se realizarán en la península mágica de Baja California, algo que sucederá por décimo año en fila dentro de territorio mexicano.
Contando hasta el momento con corredores de 23 estados de los Estados Unidos y 6 países participantes, divididos en diferentes categorías profesionales y Sportsmans (novatos) de motocicletas y carros, la justa todo terreno será de corte internacional. El banderazo de salida para las motocicletas será el sábado 5 de abril a las 6 de la mañana, tiempo del Pacífico, y los carros partirán de la línea de salida en ese mismo día, pero a las 10 de la mañana, tiempo del Pacífico.
Se espera que los ganadores overall de la carrera crucen la meta tras aproximadamente 4 horas de competencia, y el tiempo límite para que todos los participantes culminen el reto será de 12 horas, para que sea considerado como finalista oficial del evento.
SCORE EN VIVO
Desde el estudio de lujo de SCORE en El Cajón, California, de la mano del anfitrión del show SCORE Live, Brandon Johnson, quien estará informando en forma real del status de la carrera, al igual, que ubicación satelital de cada uno de los corredores, tomas áreas de dron, cámaras a bordo con vehículos participantes, además de tomas de acción en varias zonas dentro de la ruta.
Wes Miller y Heidi Steele, corredores de renombre de SCORE, serán parte del show en vivo al lado de Johnson durante el día de carrera, para llevar toda la información exclusiva del evento a los fans del Off-Road.
El carismático e inigualable Rat Sult, quien está en su décima temporada con SCORE, será el anunciador oficial de SCORE en la revisión mecánica, arranque de la carrera, al igual que en la meta. Kevin Johnson será el relevo de Sult al micrófono.

NÚMEROS EN AUMENTO
La carrera incluirá 39 equipos en los impresionantes SCORE Trophy Truck, incluidos 7 en los SCORE Trophy Truck Legend para pilotos de 50 años o más, así como 19 en la nueva categoría de los SCORE Trophy Truck 2WD, la categoría reina del Off-Road con vehículos de motores de 1 mil caballos de fuerza.
Además de los SCORE Trophy Trucks, las otras categorías con más de 20 corredores son, Trophy Truck Spec con 30 inscritos, Pro UTV FI con 28 participantes, Pro UTV Open con 24 registros, y la Pro UTV Stock con 21 pilotos.
En las categorías de motocicletas, la clase Pro Moto Unlimited cuenta con 5 equipos, la Pro Moto Limited con 9, la Sportsman Quad con 7, y la Pro Moto Ironman con 16 registros, clase que es para motociclistas que intentarán recorrer la ruta completa sin un relevo a bordo de sus motocicletas.
